I’ve been creating beautiful family portraits for over a decade and then by chance, the art of dance photography became an unexpected creative passion.
I’ve now worked with a variety of dancers, dance schools and dance companies as well as families of all shapes and sizes.
But just as important as my experience and skill as a photographer is the time I take to build a relationship with you, to understand who you are and what you’re looking for.

Creativity is in my DNA. I went to Art College, worked as a graphic designer, and a product photographer before pursuing web design as a career.
But I’ve always taken photos. I first trained in the graphic design studio with a Hasselblad camera and rolls of film. And while technology has certainly moved on, my desire to create perfect images hasn’t altered.
This passion reignited when I became a mother and felt compelled to take photos of my newborn daughter. When friends started asking me to take photos of their babies too, Young Images was born.
The art of capturing life’s most precious moments has been my passion ever since.
A new creative adventure danced into my life
By chance, I was given the opportunity to photograph a group of professional dancers. I was enchanted by the fluidity of movement and by the challenge of capturing each dancer in one perfect moment, and then another, and another.
I’ve now worked with a wide range of families, dancers and dance schools. Each shoot as helped me develop the skills and knowledge to turn the magic, the art and the emotions I witness into the beautiful images you deserve.
I not only create images you’ll treasure forever, I take pride in every step of the creative process and in the relationship I have with you.
